We are looking for an Account Director and SRE to join our start up Healthcare team. You will be one of the first of 3 recruits this year under the Head of Health. Business momentum is already very healthy within the first 6 months of this dedicated practice. Our mission is to bring our brand expertise from Consumer land into the world of Healthcare (pharmaceutical and consumer). Our healthcare clients are keen to understand how we can help them work their brands harder through a focus on person centricity (i.e. understanding both HCPs and Patients beyond the therapy area).
Your enjoyment of this role
A start up mentality will be critical to you enjoying this role! Enthusiasm to do a broad-spectrum role in the near term with big developmental and professional opportunities over the medium term. You will be tangibly inputting into the growth of the practice, from a client, product development and staff recruitment point of view. You will work closely with the Head of Health, Elena Geatches, who has 20 years’ industry experience across research, business and account development and commercial leadership. Ways of working
We are a British company, based in London, just off Oxford Street. We have a flexible hybrid model; working a minimum of two days in the office each week. We have regular company socials on Wednesdays and enjoy ‘Thirsty Thursdays’ in the last week of each month. You will be working the remaining days from home, plus 2-3 fieldwork / client trips / evenings (some international) per month.
Both qual and quant experience is desired, as many of our projects involve both – with a focus on strategic and brand oriented qualitative skills in this role, including interviewing, moderating, and workshopping. Four people in our Consumer quant team regularly deliver our quant projects in healthcare, so you will have more internal support across quant project delivery.
As a member of this intimate team, you will run projects across a range of healthcare clients and disease areas, and work with a range of brands. You will be managing international research (with local partner agencies) which include both healthcare professionals and patients. You will need an understanding of the industry and its regulations to fulfil compliance obligations.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
· Managing 2-4 projects at a time
· Communication with key client stakeholders (SRE: to support project leader)
· Communication with recruitment partners, domestic and international
· Preparing research and stimulus materials, sample specifications and screener documents
· Scheduling fieldwork and client meetings
· Conducting client meetings and research sessions (SRE: sharing with project leader)
· Analysing research results and building debrief / reporting decks
· Supporting with the day-to-day management of online communities when project requires
· Ensuring all projects are conducted in an industry-compliant way, following all necessary client and industry compliance standards
7.5 hours standard week, plus 2-3 fieldwork evenings / client meetings (sometimes international) a month
2 office days, 3 working from home days in a standard week (with flexibility when required)
We are looking for people passionate about healthcare, self-motivated and ambitious, with strong organisational skills. You will have 2-6 years’ experience in all aspects of research and effective and fluid communication skills are a must. We are a small and hands-on team, so an independent mind and entrepreneurial spirit will ensure you enjoy this role as the team and practice grow. As The Nursery works predominantly in brand and strategy research, an interest in brands and customer (unmet) need is central.
